Bots. Fake Traffic. Leads, Paid Sign ups and Traffic Scams

George provided a demonstration of the hidden complex process that happens when an Associate logs in to his or her Worldprofit Member area.
This segment may seem like Techno babble for some newbies, but it’s eye-opening critical details for the more advanced internet marketers, especially for Monitors. It’s worth listening to this carefully as George reveals how to identify fake traffic, bot traffic, disreputable sources of leads and traffic.

George provided an explanation of a bot and how bots generate fake traffic.
What to watch for so you don’t waste your money on fake traffic.
Harvested traffic, beware. “Facebook Likes” beware, don’t get suckered. The same for “BUYING” Twitter followers.
Paid sign ups? Run!

Here is an example of an email I just got from a KNOWN Bogus Fake Traffic Source.

“BRING MILLIONS OF TRAFFIC TO YOUR WEBSITE. TARGETED 72 MILLION VISITORS x 4 URLS = 288 MILLION=$9.99 ”

Do you see how ridiculous this claim is?
9.99 for 288 Million Visitors. Think about it.

The bottom line is this. To be a smart marketer, and avoid scammers getting their hands on your hard earned money, you must use your brain. Look for trends, look for cost, look for speed of sign ups, identical IP’s.

When you get a sale, take note of where that lead came from! What was the source? If you are running multiple campaigns be careful not to throw the baby out with the bath water.

You may have a problem. This problem may be costing you money without you even knowing!

Do you use Yahoo, Hotmail, Comcast, Earthlink account or AOL for email?

Some, maybe a LOT of legitimate emails are going into your Spam folder.

In our experience in doing 20+ years of Technical Support to Worldprofit Members from around the world, the following are the WORST email providers for filtering or blocking LEGITIMATE email without your knowledge:

Yahoo
Hotmail
Comcast
SBG Global
EarthLink
AOL

If you use any of these you are most likely missing important legitimate email.

Why? These providers are notorious for filtering good email without you even knowing it.

As a business owner, you must take some responsibility for missed emails.
You need to know how to check your spam folder and whitelist approved emails.

We hear from Members who tell us they did not get the email that they had earned commission.

They tell us they didn’t get the email about renewing their Membership.

They tell us they didn’t get the urgent alert email that their domain name was expiring.

When we check their account we notice they usually have an email address from Yahoo, Hotmail, Comcast, EarthLink, AOL, or SBG Global.

Solve the Problem:

1. Know how to check your spam folder, check it on a regular basis.

2. If you know how to change your settings to enter approved emails, do that. Not sure, do a Google search to find out how.
Make sure that you allow all email from Worldprofit.

3. BEST ADVICE! Drop the unreliable accounts! Get a Gmail account. It’s free and the most reliable.
In our experience, GMAIL is the best email for anyone doing business online.

If you want to do business online, make sure you are getting the emails necessary to do so.
