I don’t want to scare you but, honestly, it’s time you had a little shake up.

  • You’ve been relying on free.

Reason 1: Your own domain name looks professional, more permanent, less "here today gone tomorrow."

First impressions count even with a domain name.

Having your own domain name instantly conveys greater credibility. Set yourself apart from the competition – your impression with a domain name is one of professionalism instead of being one of 100 MILLION affiliate marketers all hawking the latest, the greatest affiliate product/service.

It’s all SOCIAL Proof when you tie your domain name into all your social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,YouTube etc)

If you have your own Amazon Store, or ClickBank Store, you have a definite advantages having it integrated into your own domain name.
You don’t want ANY reason for people to question the professionalism or integrity or permanence of your business.

If the mentioned reasons don’t convince you of the value and essentialism of having your own domain name, I have one word for you Google.
If yoy want your site to be indexed then you need Google. What does Google like best? Actual domain names with real and legitimate content.

Online security is big right now, domains can be SECURED with a SSL secure certificate, both your potential buyers and Google want to see that secure lock in the browser, it instantly says SAFE.

Reason 2: Redirects are easy when you have your own domain name

When you are provided an affiliate link to promote, you can easily set up your own domain name and have it point to the affiliate site. Easy and quick to do. If your affiliate link / program changes no problem. Just direct your domain name to your new Affiliate link or site. Remember when you own the domain name, you won’t lose traffic or backlinks every time you change your affiliate programs. Your domain name stays with you, grows with you.

Reason 3: Multiple domain names are cheap

Book your own domain name for as little as $10 per year.
Book multiple domain names and set up multiple redirects to your affiliate links or site. Terrific for building niche sites with key word domain names.

Build your brand, build your niche, build your web footprint, your social media circles, and your business for YEARS and YEARS to come.

Reason 4: Build your brand or niche with word specific domain name(s)

Having your own domain name allows you to develop a site if you choose. Add content, your contact details, your specialties, key words, landing pages (as many as you like or need for your various affiliate programs). Site Hosting is also cheap, and you can easily use one of many website editors to build your site on your domain name. Integrate in your blog, a newsletter (list building), social media streams, YouTube channel, target your audience, direct traffic and more. Emil, can you briefly share a little information with us about you?

I am 70 years old and retired.I worked as a Paramedic in the Cocoa Beach-Merritt Island Central part of Florida for 8 years. I then became a Route Deliverer for Merita Bread and then Wonder Bread for many years. I returned to my hometown of Youngstown,Ohio,where I became a Route Deliverer for Entenmanns Cake.I retired from there after 20 years.

Emil, what was the reason for your initial interest in becoming a Member at Worldprofit?

In 2000 I became interested in the internet and started looking around.To make a long story short,after spending much money and learning about all the scams out there,I came across Worldprofit.It seemed they had all I needed in one place in order to make some money on the net. I joined off and on for about a year or so.I was getting disgusted with what was happening and no profit to show. Next question will explain why.

Emil, do you have any words of advice for someone looking for an online business or considering joining Worldprofit?

Oh yes. My disgust with my situation was not Worldprofit, it was me.I wanted to do things my way and tried this shortcut and that way,to no avail. I sat down and told myself I was going to do it George and Sandi’s way. Wouldn’t you know it,I have been making profit every month since.I was just a hard head set in my ways.Just remember this is a BUSINESS,your business.You will get out of it what YOU put into it.Worldprofit gives you the tools,so just listen,learn,and put things into play as instructed.

Emil, what are some of the tools and resources in your Worldprofit Membership you find most helpful in growing your online business?

I think all the tools Worldprofit has are fantastic.You need to see what’s working and what isn’t and be willing to switch up. Don’t be in a hurry. One step at a time.You have a lot to learn so take it slow. You have all the help you need from your sponsor,the Monitors on duty, and George and Sandi. Worldprofit’s support is second to none.

Emil, can you rate on a scale of 1 – 10 then comment on the quality of services, training and support offered at Worldprofit?
A rating of 1 would be Poor, a rating of 10 would be Outstanding.

Honestly having almost 20 years of experience on the internet, I would give them an 11.You just don’t find better people than George Kosch and Sandi Hunter and the opportunity they give you to be successful on the internet.

We published this article many years ago, and now as World Profit approaches our 25th year in business, I re-read it to see if it still applies and smiled – it does. We hear from people all over the world every day, they want to earn online. They seek out our advise on exactly how to do that. Our first step is often to assess if they have a realistic attitude about what is required to grow an online business. Some don’t want to put that much time or effort into it, they just want to share some links and sit back on their beach chair and get a notification on their phone of a sale. Others, realize that it takes time, effort and a system to earn from affiliate marketing. It’s those people that we focus on, those with a realistic reference not a afraid of that 4 letter work – WORK. Those people who understand that being a success at anything in life means focus and consistent effort using a proven time-tested system, throw in your own brand of determination and you are on your way. Have you got what it takes to be a successful online marketer?

To be a successful online marketer, liken yourself to being a dog chewing on a bone.
That means gnarling away hungrily to post and promote every day – or at least as often as you can.
You can’t expect to make sales if you don’t constantly gnaw on that bone called promotion.
We teach you all about promotion in George Kosch’s online and LIVE weekly bootcamp training sessions.

Promotion, and the need for constant promotion is the one thing that many new marketers take along time to fully grasp.
Many underestimate how much promotion you must to see results and give up far too soon.

Grow a thick-skin.
When you contact people (people who’ve actually ASKED for the information) you’re going to hear things like "GET ME OFF THIS LIST" or " I never asked for this information" or "how did you get my email address/phone number." Learn now to convert the negative energy of rejection into the positive energy of moving forward. Move on to the next person, lead or prospect. The Internet is a massive place, if this person isn’t interested in your offer the next person is waiting. The more you post, the more you promote, the more you connect with people, the MORE sales you make. Be nice, build relationships with people and you will gain lifetime customers, not to mention feel good about your online business. If you can’t do that or don’t want to do that you will never make it as a successful marketer. I will say it again, BE Nice!

You’ve got to have instant access to products and services that are of real value, products that are in demand, new services that people need and want – NOW! You can’t be wasting time on looking for what to sell, what’s hot, you’ve got to be able to call up your product list and press SEND on the promotion materials. Not sure how to do that? You’ve got to be prepared to promote as often as you eat. When you are hungry you seek out food, when you want to make money online you must promote. Ask yourself, are you really committed? If you are that means investing the time, and effort into learning and DOING the tasks required, failing, making mistakes then continuing toward your goal.

Eliminate or at least filter out the negative people in your life. You know who they are, the ones that tell you it will never work. They say you are crazy to spend so much time online. The people who are telling you all the reasons why you can’t do it, while you yourself are actually doing it. Don’t be smug though, when you start getting results, simply smile and give yourself a pat on the back. You are one of the truly unique, a rare breed. You think, you do, you tune out the negative and simply focus on doing what you need to do to achieve your goals.

Be realistic. Don’t start promoting online thinking you are going to get rich overnight, or even in a few weeks or months. Put on a "HYPE FILTER" to filter out all the bunk, promises and fake pitches you hear and see. Believe only that with hard work and consistent effort you will get results. Believe in yourself to build your own success not in the pitches that making money online is easy or instant.

Set realistic goals for your earnings, and be prepared to grow your business over time. Build your online resources, build your lead list, build your customer list, grow your profits by nurturing your business. Your business is a tender green shoot, care for it daily and you will have an oak tree some day. Forget to water, neglect, vacation for too long and you will be left with a dead twig.

Get help. You’re not going to do this alone, nor should you. Find online marketers, online communities, facebook groups, mentors, like-minded people who think like you do. Network, share, support, give and get back. They don’t give up, they don’t know it all, they seek solutions, make mistakes, they get up and try again. Be a DOer not an analyst, not a deep thinker, not a planner, but someone who rolls up their sleeves digs in, gets dirty and insists on results.

I’ve been in the online home business industry for over twenty years as a business owner, a coach, and a marketer. I’ve seen it all. People come in, happy, eager, determined. Some last a few days, some a few months. Then you get down to a very small percentage of people, the truly determined, the people I have worked with for years. The one common trait the winners, the non-quitters all have is – are you ready for this?

RESILIENCE. These people weren’t the top of their class, they weren’t the bottom, they are average people who have the ability to recover quickly from difficulties, from a tough life, from a path full of bumps and obstacles. Who among us doesn’t have "stuff" in our lives, problems, distractions that keep us from achieving our goals. The difference is how you recover from it and go on.

Here’s the actual definition of RESILIENCE from Merriam Webster Dictionary (remember those, yes I still have a hard covered version 😉

Resilience

: the ability to become strong, healthy, or successful again after something bad happens

: an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change

Kim, can you share a little information with us about you?

I live in a rural mountain community in the lower Appalachian chain on the Alabama Tennessee border
and am approaching sixty years of age and I don’t feel it! I have to remind myself to act as close to my
age as possible. My background is comprised of fitness and sales. I spent quite a few years selling
advertising specialties in a corporate business arena. Then when the internet brought huge changes to that
business about 20 years ago, I pursued a lifelong love of fitness and managed a fitness facility for a
friend. As a former triathlete, it was a natural for me to work with people to help them achieve fitness.
But soon I found out there was a missing element because most people just really don’t know how to take
care of their health and our diets don’t help that much either. My interest in whole food nutrition and
utilizing nutritional healing became more intense and I found myself a student and then graduate of an
internationally known health and detoxification school. This leads to the next question here of why I
came to World Profit.

Kim, what was the reason for your initial interest in becoming a Member at World Profit?

As for why I came to World Profit, I was looking for a way to market online so I could develop an online health
coaching business along the side of my offline business. I have a great passion to help people find ways to feel
better. When I found World Profit, I was exploring how to market online as I really did not have a clue. What I
have found here not only gave me direction to know how to market my business, but the pleasant surprise of being
a part of World Profit is the absolutely outstanding “online family” that I have found and come to care so much
about! The best people who really care about others and their ability to succeed are right here at World Profit!

Kim, do you have any words of advice for someone looking for an online business or considering joining
World Profit?

My advice to anyone who wants to earn money online is to drop everything they are doing and pay attention to
what World Profit has to offer. There is not a need to go anywhere else to learn how to market whatever you need

Solo Advertising – What you Need to Know

Some of our World Profit Members have been taken in by some dishonest Solo Ad Vendors not associated with Worldprofit.

We’ve written these guidelines to help you make good decisions when purchasing solo ads.

Solo Ads are an effective and powerful way to promote your affiliate links and grow your email marketing list.

Here’s how it works.

You submit your ad to a Solo Ad Vendor / Seller and he / she sends your ad out to a Subscriber list (email marketing list).
If your Solo Ad is well written and compelling, you should immediately start getting a flow of optins and people joining your own email marketing list or autoresponder. The Vendor may or may not provide you with some type of tracking for your Solo Ad stats.

Solo Ad Advantages

  • Solo Ads are effective for promoting affiliate marketing links, online business opportunities and MLM (business models that are often banned by Facebook or Twitter)
  • It’s excellent target marketing as your Solo Ad gets sent to a subscriber list – people who have agreed to receive marketing promotions. The list recipients are involved in affiliate marketing themselves and are motivated as they may earn credits for viewing the ads in exchange for agreeing to receive email promotions.
  • Usually there are few limits on the size of your Solo Ad
  • Warm and receptive market as people who receive the solo ads have agreed to and are expecting to receive various marketing promotions.
  • Easy to Track optins to test your ad, your marketing campaign and the list

Solo Ad Disadvantages

There are actually NO disadvantages to the practice of Solo Ads, the disadvantages are solely related to the honesty and reliability of the VENDOR / SELLER of the Solo Ads.

Here’s what to watch out for when evaluating Solo Advertising Vendors

1. If the Vendor insists that you use ONLY their Capture Page, and not one of your own, be cautious.
Reason: Some vendors require you use their Contact page so they have complete control and can "inject" the lead form with bot traffic.
This makes you think you are getting a large number of optins but ou can’t tell the source or the type of traffic, you just know you are getting a lot of leads / optins. While initially you may be impressed with the optin rate, you eventually try to contact those people and your fears are confirmed, they are fake, or the trend is consistent that a large number of the leads state they never signed up for anything. In the case where a login is required, you may notice that the lead never logs in, very strange.
Unscrupulous vendors use robotic software programs that have Auto Form Fill functions and that can vary the IP, so it seems that the leads are coming from different computer and parts of the world. The fact that these are robotic software programs means they can churn out unlimited "leads" and "optins" to unknowing, trusting buyers.

2. If there is no way to get on the list of the Vendor / Seller to actually see and receive your Solo Ads and those ads of other marketers, be skeptical.
Reason: If the Vendor has a list of subscribers there should be no reason why you cannot subscribe to that list to get a confirmation or verification of your Solo Ad as a recipient.

3. If the Vendor / Seller won’t allow you to use your own 3rd party tracking software, ask questions.
Without your own 3rd party, unbiased tracker, you have no choice but to trust that what they reveal is truthful.
Using your own good quality tracker program can reveal to you referral source, IP, time on page, exit times and more. extremely useful data that can reveal REAL traffic from FAKE traffic.

4. At World Profit, our experience in testing some of these SOLO Ad Vendors ourselves is that they will simply send you business opportunity seeker leads. You get them fast so you think these people responded to your Solo Ad. We suspect it’s a practice designed to keep you quiet and avoid a refund request. Some of the leads received may be re-used/resold respondents from long long ago, not entirely worthless, but not the same quality as an actual recent respondent to your ad and offer.

5. If the Refund Policy Guarantees Conversion or you don’t pay, ask questions and read the fine print.
Reason: Sketchy vendors use words like 100% Risk Free to gain your trust and ease your worry. They know you are busy and most people don’t take the time to read Terms and Conditions. If you take the time to read the Refund Policy who will often find there are conditions or a cancellation fee, or you could unintentionally violate their terms making your refund null and void.
