Lisa, can you share a little bit about you? Your background? Experience?

Working in the Utility sector, as an Operator, evolving technology assured me a new learning experience. My familiarity with computers and the internet, at the time, were nil. HMI, PLC, IT; it was all Greek to me. That was my introduction to the Internet, and what a valuable service a Programmer provided. The ability to access your operations from across the continent, if need be, to resolve glitches. I would say I happened across Worldprofit as more of an interest in learning about website hosting, and online instructional learning from a volunteer aspect, rather than looking to make money online, or start a home-based business. Worldprofit seemed to encompass my original interests, and, as well, I found the perfect avenue to supplement my future retirement.

Lisa, how long have you been with Worldprofit? What keeps you motivated?

I have been with Worldprofit for (8) years now. My motivation stems from enjoyment of the continual learning curve, having access to a great, supportive community, and recognizing that Worldprofit has all the provisions for building a solid, long-term, sustainable income source, which will benefit future generations.

Can you tell us Lisa, are there any specific tools or resources provided by Worldprofit that you use to build your business or improve your understanding of online marketing?

The resources I frequently utilize are the Virtual Sales Assistant, the Call Loop System, the Promo-Bots, Solo Blaster, Article Directory, InstaBuilder, Landing Page Builder, Auto-Text, Money-Makers, and more recently, the Sales Funnels, and Live Sales Chat System. All are valuable, and immense time-savers, once set in place.

What do you enjoy Lisa about being a Monitor? What have you learned?

I’ve always believed that you should give back to the community that supports you. That is reward in itself. Although it was a major hurdle for me to overcome, I had the privilege of being taught just how important it was to effectively communicate with each individual to ascertain the benefits Worldprofit could provide for them. In turn, I hope I am able to convey the same to future Monitors.

Lisa, based on your experience as a long time Member, do you have any suggestions for new Worldprofit members?

Oh yes, indeed. Listen to George Kosch. Do what George tells you to do. If (usually when, is more likely) you find yourself finally submitting a Support Ticket saying, “But George……..???” Just this simple act alone, on your part, to request help, and then TO DO what he tells you to do, you deserve a pat on the back for actually being willing to listen, and learn, “By George, He Was Right!”

Do you have a Daily Checklist or routine you rely on for growing your business? Lisa, what are your success habits?

I would have to say I use Linda Elze as my Role Model. I try to set aside time to promote on a daily basis, then check emails and correspondence. Those are my first considerations. I ensure I keep up to date with Bootcamp Training, and implement any new features’ that I feel will benefit me, in the future.

Lisa, what kinds of promotion do you find brings the best results?

Definitely the 20+ income/Traffic Streams, Fast-Track Visitors, and purchasing Solo Ads from various sources ie Udimi, or just sharing a link via Google+ , Twitter, or Facebook.

Lisa, do you have any last words you would like to share about your experiences with Worldprofit?

Worldprofit Rocks!!

Do you have what it takes to be a successful online marketer? Read this and see!

By Sandi Hunter

To be a successful online marketer, liken yourself to being a dog chewing on a bone. That means gnarling away hungrily to post and promote every day – or at least as often as you can. You can’t expect to make sales if you don’t constantly gnaw on that bone called promotion. We teach you all about promotion in George Kosch’s online and LIVE weekly bootcamp training sessions. Promotion, and the need for constant promotion is the one thing that many new marketers take along time to fully grasp. Many underestimate how much promotion you must to see results and give up far too soon.

Grow a thick-skin.
When you contact people (people who’ve actually ASKED for the information) you’re going to hear things like “GET ME OFF THIS LIST” or ” I never asked for this information” or “how did you get my email address/phone number.” Learn now to convert the negative energy of rejection into the positive energy of moving forward. Move on to the next person, lead or prospect. The Internet is a massive place, if this person isn’t interested in your offer the next person is waiting. The more you post, the more you promote, the more you connect with people, the MORE sales you make. Be nice, build relationships with people and you will gain lifetime customers. If you can’t do that or don’t want to do that you will never make it as a successful marketer.

You’ve got to have instant access to products and services that are of real value, products that are in demand, new services that people need and want – NOW! You can’t be wasting time on looking for what to sell, what’s hot, you’ve got to be able to call up your product list and press SEND on the promotion materials. Not sure how to do that? That’s what we offer our Worldprofit Members, instant access to in-demand products/services and the marketing materials to promote them. It’s all in your Memer area, the Clickbank Promo Kit, the Money Makers Kit, the Fast Cash Products, the PLR Store, the 20+ Income Streams and of course Worldprofit services too.

Understand why and how building a list is so critical to your business growth and cements your long term sales objectives. Your products and services may change, your offers may change but your list is a targeted buyers list that must be grown and cared for with the utmost of your attention. George Kosch talks about this in the bootcamp training. You may very well have found Worldprofit by being on one of our marketing lists. Now we teach you how to build YOUR list so you are a seller not a responder ending up on someone else’s list!

You need access to a goody bag of offers – really good offers. Really cool things you can add QUICKLY to your offer that have a real value to entice people to take action today, not next week. Worldprofit Members you have this in your Offer Builder, in your Goody Bag, and more – it’s all in your Worldprofit Member area. Offers are what gets people sniffing around and is what helps close sales. You, me, everyone likes a deal – offers are the icing on the cake!

Employ a never-give up attitude. If you’re the kind of person who goes hard for a few days then peters out losing interest, then online marketing is not for you. You’ve got to be prepared to promote as often as you eat. When you are hungry you seek out food, when you want to make money online you must promote. Ask yourself, are you really committed? If you are that means investing the time, and effort into learning and DOING the tasks required, failing, making mistakes then continuing toward your goal.

Eliminate or at least filter out the negative people in your life. You know who they are, the ones that tell you it will never work. They say you are crazy to spend so much time online. The people who are telling you all the reasons why you can’t do it, while you yourself are actually doing it. Don’t be smug though, when you start getting results, simply smile and give yourself a pat on the back. You are one of the truly unique, you think, you do, you tune out the negative and simply focus.

Be realistic. Don’t start promoting online thinking you are going to get rich overnight, or even in a few weeks or months. Put on a “HYPE FILTER” to filter out all the bunk, promises and fake pitches you hear and see. Believe only that with hard work and consistent effort you will get results. Believe in yourself to build your own success not in the pitches that making money online is easy or instant.

Set realistic goals for your earnings, and be prepared to grow your business over time. Build your online resources, build your lead list, build your customer list, grow your profits by nurturing your business. Your business is a tender green shoot, care for it daily and you will have an oak tree some day. Forget to water, overwater, walk away for too long and you will be left with a dead twig.

Get help. You’re not going to do this alone, nor should you. Find online marketers, online communities, facebook groups, mentors, like-minded people who think like you do. Network, share, support, give and get back. Worldprofit’s home business community is made up of real people from all walks of life and experiences from all over the world with the same goal as you – improving their financial situation for self and family by learning how to earn at home using the resources of the web.

Be willing to learn and commit to applying what you learn. Being a successful online marketer is really no different than being a lawyer, plumber, pilot, truck driver in that you have to learn and MASTER specific skills. Apply those skills consistently, evaluate your progress, try harder, work harder to get the results. Don’t think for one minute that this is easy or that you will instantly “get it”. If you don’t want to learn, won’t take the time, and have no patience, find something else. Internet marketing is not for you.

Benefit from having a system, one that incorporates easy access to hot products, ads, services you can sell, reputable places to promote, coaching and training and ongoing support. You can build your business with one single hammer, or better yet, you can assemble an organized team of people, equipment and support services to accomplish the same thing faster and more efficiently. Worldprofit offers our Members the system to build your online business. The place online where you earn consistent income. Worldprofit is your one-stop-shop for all the elements of your system; the website, trafffic, software, lead sources, advertising resouces, training, support, mentorship, and income programs form a number of reliable trusted sources. We don’t just give you the hammer to build your business, we give you the whole tool kit, a blueprint to build your business, and the support and help you need to build and then expand it for years to come.

Ask yourself how much time you are going to commit to building your online marketing business. If your answer is an hour a day fine, set a goal, stick with it. If it’s 4 hours a day, stick with it. Be sure to adjust your sales goals based on the amount of time you work your business.

Take responsiblity yourself and your success (or lack of). No single product or guru is going to be your secret success solution, the one answer to your financial dreams. The only person who is going to make it happen and DO what needs to be done to achieve it – is YOU.

Have an open-mind. Online marketing is not taught in school, you are an entrepreneur and thus made of a unique kind of tenacity and grit. They don’t give up, they don’t know it all, they seek solutions, make mistakes, they get up and try again. Be a DOer not an analyst, not a deep thinker, not a planner, but someone who rolls up their sleeves digs in, gets dirty and insists on results.

I’ve been in the online home business industry for over twenty years as a business owner, a coach, and a marketer. I’ve seen it all. People come in, happy, eager, determined. Some last a few days, some a few months. Then you get down to a very small percentage of people, the truly determined, the people I have worked with for years. The one common trait the winners, the non-quitters all have is – are you ready for this?

RESILIENCE. These people weren’t the top of their class, they weren’t the bottom, they are average people who have the ability to recover quickly from difficulties, from a tough life, from a path full of bumps and obstacles. Who among us doesn’t have “stuff” in our lives, problems, distractions that keep us from achieving our goals. The difference is how you recover from it and go on.

Here’s the actual definition of RESILIENCE from Merriam Webster:

Resilience

: the ability to become strong, healthy, or successful again after something bad happens

: an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change

Online Marketing Business Builder Tip: Connecting with people results in higher sales conversions. Here’s why.

sandihunter

by Sandi Hunter

I’m sure you’ve noticed that the Internet and your email box is rife with stupendous offers, promises of instant riches and more.

As an online marketer serious about building a legitimate online business and customer base, a powerful way to set yourself apart from other “offers” is to be a real person, not an auto responding hipster of hype. As a consultant, a mentor, a sponsor, whatever you want to call yourself, you must be real, and be available.

It’s called customer relationship building – it’s vitally important and here’s why it’s good for your bottom line.

-People like do business with an individual, not an autoresponder.
-People like to do business with people they trust.
-People will buy because they feel good about buying not because they were pressured to do so.
-People continue to do business with people who don’t drop off the face of the earth when the sale is done.

Managed properly and smartly, one sale today, can mean a lifetime of sales from your customers.

Here’s how to better connect with your prospects (people) to earn and keep customers over the long term.

You know that the key to making sales is promotion but don’t let your promotions reek of mass automation without personalization.
Whenever you can, in your online marketing use a person’s name not a generic salutation.

In all of your marketing materials use your own full name and provide all the ways that your potential customers can reach you and that means email address, Skype, or even your phone number if you are comfortable with that.

Include your photo when you can on your landing pages, sales pages, website, and marketing materials. You don’t need to have movie start good looks, just be sure to use a picture that is clear where your face is visible.
If your eyes are direct and looking at the viewer that’s a definite plus. Even when doing business online we look for the eyes of the person – we can’t help ourselves it’s an animal instinct we all have. Remember you may never actually meet your customers face to face, so you’ve got to work a little harder to earn trust and that starts with making it clear you are a real and sincere person.

Don’t be afraid to connect with people on the phone. We often hear how people are so happy to talk to an actual LIVE person on the phone. We are so used to being bombarded with emails and pitches with no personal connection whatsoever. People who don’t mind being contacted by phone will provide their phone number. On your website forms, you can and should include a phone number field. If people don’t want to be called they won’t provide their phone number.

Make use of the technology available to you to reach out of customers when convenient to them in a way that is cost efficient for you both. Use Skype, webcasting, online meeting centers, record personalized video messages and more.

Offer a Free No Obligation “10 Minute Consult”. Do it over Skype and it will cost you virtually nothing. Is 10 minutes of your time worth a potential sale? It sure is!  That 10 minutes is time well spent and can mean a sale, a business connection, a newsletter subscriber, another potential customer to follow up with.

Understand that following up with your prospects sets you apart as someone interested in a business relationship. People don’t usually make snap decisions when it comes to parting with money online. Some people need time to think about their decision talk to a spouse, they want to read over the details and so forth. If you want to earn customers for life, respect them, earn their business, don’t hit them over the head with a hard sell. Don’t think that when a prospect tells you NO to your offer today, it doesn’t mean they won’t buy in the future if the timing, situation and offer is different.

Why talking to someone on the phone in an honest way leads to higher sales conversions.
When you talk on the phone you can gauge interest, you can rule out objections to purchase, clear up misunderstanding or miscommunication. You can make a good offer a better one if it means the sale can close sooner. Connecting on the phone means better understanding the needs of the individual, meeting those needs, and the sale can close with both parties satisfied.

ABC. Always be moving toward the close. When you allow your prospects time to review your offer, it doesn’t mean you aren’t trying to make or conclude a sale. It means, making a believable offer, answering questions, ruling out objections and moving them to where they can make the right decision – to buy.

Ever been in a store and been approached by commissioned sales people? Notice that it’s usually the most helpful person that answers your questions then asks for the sale that wins you over? The one who shows interest in your needs, provides the benefits of the item then leads you over to the cash register. Online your job is to provide the benefits of what you offer, answer questions then lead your new customer to the order form.

Realize that not everyone is in a position to buy right now. You smartly will respect that but will get the person’s contact details so you can email them future offers (with their permission of course), stay in touch, and hopefully gain their business in the near future.

ABP. Always be promoting. You can never have too many prospective customers. The more you promote, the more leads you have. Leads that are responded to quickly and efficiently can quickly become customers. Stay on top of your leads. We all want prompt responses these days.

Limit how much automation you depend on for building your business. The internet and specialized software has helped so much with business building, but in some ways it’s taken away one of the most important factors in closing sales – connecting with people. Even in a technically dependent world, nothing closes sales better than personalized professional attention.

Want to make a sale today? Pick up the phone. Want to increase your overall monthly income? Pick up the phone.
Don’t be a sales person, just be a real person. It’s so refreshing in an email driven market place.

10 Marketing Mistakes Revealed!

By Sandi Hunter

I’ve been in the home business and online marketing industry for nearly 20 years. These are 10 of the most common marketing mistakes I hear or see most often from both Newbies but also from people who assure me they know what they are doing. Here’s the critical mistakes to avoid and what you should be doing instead to maximize your results.

Marketing Mistake #1

You send all your traffic to your primary website. Most people involved in online marketing or affiliate marketing,  are selling more than one product or service. By all means, list all your products and services on your site, but don’t rely on your website for lead generation.  Your website can be too busy and too big to funnel your buyers into the section or item they are looking for.  Fussy, large, poorly organized websites can cost you leads and sales.

What you should do.

You should send all your traffic to landing pages NOT to your website. Ideally you should have one landing page for each product or service you offer.  This way you can target specific markets and cater your copy and offers to that population. Landing pages are clean lead-generating machines. Effective landing pages start with a compelling attention-getting headline, then drive home the benefits of what you offer, point by point. Landing pages that get results always have an OFFER to generate an action by the reader – in most cases this action is either to get a contact form completed, or an instant sale.   Every person who lands on your landing page (squeeze page) is a highly valued prospect.

Marketing Mistake #2

You focus only on lead generation and not list building. Newcomers to online marketing, and even seasoned marketers often make the mistake of posting static information on a website or a landing page.  They fail to do the most important task of all. That task is to include an opt-in form on your landing page that encourages the prospect to sign up for your newsletter, or your email updates, or your special promotions email.

What you should do.

Every landing page you create should include OPTIN boxes so respondents can check off interest in other services you offer including your newsletter, special promotions, or related products and services. Every successful marketer knows that the key to sales now, today, and the future is based on a solid mailing list.  The best way to generate your own email marketing list is to encourage people to agree  (opt-in) to receive your email.  This can be made easy for prospects by having check boxes on the lead form included on your landing page. They simply check off what they would like to receive additional information about.   Mail order companies have known the power of a good mailing list for years, now online marketers need to understand this too.

Marketing Mistake #3

You tell not sell.  You ramble on with details and jargon that bores your prospect to tears. You don’t offer the exciting benefits of what your product or service offers –  what it will do for them to make their life better, or solve or eliminate a problem. Prospects stop reading long before they get anywhere near becoming a lead or a buyer.

What you should do.

Use sales-generating copy tells the prospect the BENEFITS of what you offer. Include a special offers that motivates a response!   Stop boring people by TELLING  the minutiae of what they are buying and start SELLING them on why they must get your incredible product TODAY.  Sell all the benefits of what you offer, make an offer to get it today, then limit that offer so they understand they will miss out if they don’t act now – right now!   Every statement in your copy should be moving towards the sale.  You get this, this and this too but you must act now! Punchy copy that is laden with value and excitement gets a response.  Your marketing copy must speak directly to the needs of the reader, they want to know what is in it for them. Your only need as the marketer is to get the point across that your offer is outstanding and must be responded to right now.

Marketing Mistake #4

You are trying to BUY success. Many inexperienced marketers will buy the services of an SEO company in an attempt to artificially force their website to the first page of Google and other search engine sites.   I hope you have a money tree because you are going to need one. You’ll be out of money before you know it with no sales to show for it.

What you should do.

Learn how to do Search Engine Optimization (SEO) yourself. If you don’t you will always find people with their hand out ready to take your money, and your return for this kind of service will be minimal. Here’s why. SEO is not that hard, you can easily learn how to do this yourself if you are willing to learn, give it time and are very patient.  There are TONS of free courses, free ebooks, low cost software and training programs that teach you how to increase your website ranking.  At least first give it a try yourself, save yourself a lot of money, learn for the sake of long term growth of your online business. See Marketing Mistake # 5 for more on this.

Marketing Mistake #5

You rely on automation or short cuts to fast-track your marketing. You’ve bought software or services that allow you to:  – Spin articles – Mass blast ads – Generate mass link submissions – Blast messages out to Twitter and other social media sites   – Mass product fake content pages

Guess what? The folks at Google and Bing are smart cookies.  Every day they tighten their algorithms a little bit more to decrease or eliminate the search returns generated by automated programs. The result: one day you are on the first page and the top 10 search returns, the next day your site is dropped for no reason and no recourse for the unfortunate site owner.  I don’t have to tell you that this can cost you a LOT of money.   The search engine sites don’t have to tell you why your listing disappeared, they change how they rank sites all the time. As soon as there is an obvious pattern, or sometimes just a hint of artificial attempts to jimmy your rankings from automated software, look out!

What you should do.

Forget about automation, it may work now, you may get away with it for the short term but in the long term, it won’t.  Google themselves will tell you the best way to get high ranking is with fresh, natural content posted frequently.    Yup. That takes time, sorry folks, no way around that but it is time well spent. Stop thinking you have to get rich over night, start thinking of your online business as a REAL business, not a hobby. A legitimate business takes time to build, consistent effort and some learning along the way.   Read, learn, download ebooks on the topic, take a Bootcamp training course such as the one offered at Worldprofit, and work on building your web footprint one day at a time.  Every had a tap dripping into your bathtub. It doesn’t take long till the tub fills then starts to overflow. Use the FREE and plentiful tools available on the web to learn and understand how to increase your ranking.  You can get started right now! Set time aside as you learn and do a little every day. Create social media profiles, create blogs, post an ad, build a WordPress site (the SEO is built in already), write an article, comment on an article, be a guest blogger, tweet, Facebook, LinkedIn.

Marketing Mistake # 6

You don’t track your advertising results.  No clicks on your ads means no intelligence on which ads are working at which places.  You are marketing with a blindfold.

What you should do.

The beauty of online advertising is that when you post an ad you can check to see if you get hits. This is smart!  The only way of knowing if your ads are working, if your time was well spent, or your advertising dollars were well spent is to know if you get clicks on your ads.   Tracking your ads and the response allows you to tweak your ad copy, better your offer, identify both good and poor advertising sources.  Most online advertising sites provide you with a Member area where you can login to check your statistical data on your advertising response.

Marketing Mistake # 7

Buying ads on Google and Bing without knowing what you are doing. Newcomers to online marketing do this all the time. They put up a website then buy ads at Google. Google loves you for this but you won’t fall in love with the cost.

What you should do.

Research key words in your industry so you know what people are using to find businesses, products or services that you offer. How do you do that? Easy. Google has a key words tools within their Webmaster Tools to help you with your ad campaigns. It’s free whether you advertise with them or not, and a great way to get started learning about key works so you can use this information in your marketing.

Marketing Mistake # 8

Not promoting consistently.  You are short on time, and short on money, so you post infrequently.  You don’t vary your offer, your products, your ad copy.

What you should do.

Successful marketers know that promotion is something you must do every day, and if not every day as often as you can.  People short on time make the grave error of buying large quantity mailings to massive amounts of people in one shot, instead of doing  small amounts of promotion to target markets on a continual consistent basis.  Do you ever notice that big companies NEVER stop marketing? They are always in your face.  What do they know that you don’t know? The consumer has a very short attention span and if you are not in their face they quickly forget about you.  My colleague impressed on me the 7 time rule of marketing.  The idea of this is that people have to see an offer, or an ad as much as 7 times before they do anything.  Ever notice that when you watch the morning news while getting ready for work, that the same McDonald’s commercial plays over and over again! Why? They know you are watching the news getting ready for work and want you to stop in for a breakfast sandwich. Repetition in marketing is key and give the competition out there for various offers, it’s important that your message be seen.  Post your ads often. You are NEVER done promoting. As an online marketer your job is simple. Promote often, promote consistently.  This leads into our next critical mistake.

Marketing Mistake # 9

Only advertising at a few places and not constantly looking for new advertising sources.

What you should do.

New marketers tend to find one or two places to advertise then only advertise there. The web is filled with great places to advertise. You must try to continually expand your reach, tap into new markets, target new customers.  Don’t put all your eggs in one basket and rely exclusively on single sources or you will be cutting off your profit potential.  Look into all kinds of different types of advertising including pay per click, login ads, banner ads, safelists, traffic exchanges, ad swaps, classified ads, joint ventures. Avoid vendors that sell extremely large lists or leads for a ridiculously low cost, chances are good they will be fake or computer generated.

Marketing Mistake # 10

Underestimating how much marketing focus is required to drive your business.

What you should do.

Understand that marketing is and should be 90% of how you spend your time in building your online business.  This one thing alone dooms so many Newbies to failure, they don’t spend enough time on marketing in order to get results.  I hear people say ‘this product is so good it will sell itself”. That has got to be one of the worst errors in thinking I have heard when it comes to making money.  You’ve got your products or services you want to sell, now focus on promotion. When, where, and how. Then stick to it.         I’ve had people tell me they are spending 12 hours a day promoting a product and not getting results. I tell each and everyone of them this. “If that’s actually true, you are doing something terribly wrong.”  If this is you then go back and read over these common marketing mistakes. You are making one or more and this is sabotaging your own success. Sometimes you just need to step away, take a breather, and review what you are doing. You may think you are working hard but you aren’t focusing on what will get you results. Something is perhaps distracting you, something is eating up your time, something you are doing is not what you should be doing.  One person who told me they were spending dozens of hours a day with no result, was actually spending most of their time blogging and Facebooking. When they evaluated what they were actually doing they then saw that what felt like work was really just time wasted in front of a computer. The bottom line is this, reassess but never never give up.

Summary: There is so much money to be made online it’s mind-boggling. It’s a type of money making that is not what most people are familiar, it’s a steep learning curve for many but it’s worth the time to learn.  There’s unlimited choices of products and services to sell.  You can build an online business for very little cost but treat it seriously. Be realistic about what you can earn  and put in the necessary time to learn and understand what you are doing.

Top 20 Safelists For Affiliate Marketers

In my last post, I talked about Safelists and how they are a powerful advertising strategy for Affiliate Marketers or anyone running a home based business. I also revealed how to get the best possible response from your Safelist Advertising.

Here’s a summary in case you missed it.

A Safelist is a Membership based mailing list where Members can email each other. These emails cannot be considered as spam because Member must opt-in to receive the mailings and also have confirmed their email address. A Safelist can be used to advertise a product or service, including business opportunities, affiliate programs, home business products, Clickbank products and so forth. Most Safelists work by allowing Members to earn credits for free advertising but also offer paid advertising options. Basic Membership in a Safelist is usually free. Paid memberships allow you to post more often, or to a larger list.

I’ve heard from many of you, requesting suggestions for reputable Safelist sites and companies. I share with you my Top 20 Safelists.

This is not just a list, mindlessly copied and pasted here. Remember, successful online promotion means consistent promotion to a number of sites or lists. Definitely join a number of Safelists to increase your reach. Make sure the ads you run include the benefits of what you offer, an eye-popping offer and a lead form ideally with optin options for your own list creation.

These are Safelists that we use our ourselves, or own and use for a variety of campaigns on a regular basis. They are listed in no particular order.

Last Tip: Remember if your ad doesn’t pull don’t be so quick to blame the list, have another look at your ad.

Would you rather stick needles in your eyes then blog? 10 Ways to Make Life Easier for Bloggers with limited time and writing ability.

Ok, you know you are supposed to blog. The marketing experts agree that blogging consistently is a sure-fire way to get your site well indexed by the search engines and get those oh-so-important backlinks for your site. But let’s face the reality. Coming up with fresh interesting blog content 365 days a year is darn difficult. You know it’s important but getting started is so hard. You understand you need the value that blogging provides from search engines gobbling up your content. But how? ! How do you come up with fresh blog content and find the time. Here’s some ideas to make your life easier but also to get better results for your efforts.

1. Blog about what you know or are passion about so the words stream from your keyboard rather then having to struggle to spit out the words and put sentences together. It’s always easier to talk about something you know or care about or that is controversial then technical or dry topics.

2. You don’t have to be an expert (unless you really are an expert and offering expert content on a specific topic). Write about specifics if you can, generalities if you have to, but write about something!

3. You don’t have to be a blogger who writes with grammatical perfection. Your English teacher is not reading your blog. Stop thinking that the world is going to judge you critically if you misspell a word or don’t know all the rules of grammar. Of course you want your blog to be as good as it can be, but don’t let the quest for perfection make a 20 minute blog post take you hours to complete.  (If you find a typo in this post, I don’t want to hear about it).

4. Ideally, to get the most benefit from search engines indexing your blog, you want to blog about topics related to your products, service or business. But that can be really tough to write about just one subject every day. Try spacing out your blogs so that some are on topic for your purpose, while others are off topic, or about current events. Add in your Resource Box at the end of every post (see point 7 below).

5. Keep your blog posts short. Keep your blog to the point, itemize, organize, number points if you have to. Do what you have to do make it easy and quick for you to write and easy and quick for your readers to digest. Sometimes less is more.

6. Let the world around you be your inspiration for blogs topics. This can include songs, newspaper headlines, nature, current events, other bloggers, daily happenings in the course of your life, things your kids say or do. Get the idea. There are NO limits.

7. Always, conclude your post with a Resource Box or Author info section with every blog. Why? So that your contact info and identifying information is tagged with EVERY blog post and not tucked away on an About page. Ensure that your Resource Box includes your name, contact details, areas of expertise, and link to your site or landing page. It is also a good idea to weave your optimal key words into your Resource Box. This way the key words you want people to find you with are associated with your blog, your name, and your company. This proves beneficial if you write about something not directly related to your business, products or services, you still get the benefit of the key word content about yourself, and a backlink to your site, or landing page.

8. Sometimes it helps to start with a really catchy Blog title. Take a lesson from the newspapers. They construct clever eye-grabbing attention getting headlines to draw you in. Start with a really bold, in your face, descriptive or reaction provoking headline to get immediate attention. The let your content come forth from the headline.

9. Set a goal to blog on a regular basis. If you can’t blog every day, then do it every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Set exact dates and times that work for you. If you don’t you will always find some other distraction to convince yourself is more important. Set a goal, stick to it, do it!

10. Make the most of the time you have spent on your blog by then tweeting it, posting it to Linked In, adding to your Facebook profile and other social media sites. Maximize the power of the time you spent blogging by utilizing social media to spread the message to other sites. You can use automated tools to do this to save time. Include links to your social media sites on your blog itself for even more exposure.

The # 1 MARKETING MISTAKE that 90% of Marketers are Making. Are you doing this?

By Sandi HunterI’ve been an online marketer for nearly 18 years, my business partner has been marketing on and offline for over 30 years.

I’m going to tell you what we’ve learned and know for a fact so you get better results from your advertising NOW.
If you are like most marketers you have a snazzy website that you either spent good money on or you have laboured to build yourself.
Now all you have to do is promote it. Right? WRONG!
Before you spend one dime to promote your website, read this article. Don’t make the same mistake made by 90% of marketers
that costs them thousands and thousand of dollars, lost leads and lost sales.
You do NOT want to promote your website as your primary method of generating leads. Here’s why.
If your website is like 99% of those I have reviewed, it’s copy dense. You’ve got links, video, flash, offers, affiliates, graphics, pages,
charts, forms, RSS Feeds, blogs, Twitter feeds, the Daily Weather, and a little or a lot of other organized chaos.
The viewer (your potential buyer) doesn’t know here to look, what to click on, it’s information OVERLOAD.
(This is all great for key word content for Search Engine Optimization or general promotion but NOT the best way for generating leads).
The result is immediate. If they don’t instantly see what they want they click OFF. Say Goodbye to your lead!
You might as well add, “Sorry I wasn’t a little more clever about helping you get what you want so I could get what I need.”
The SMART marketer understands this and says, I want to meet the needs of  my viewers. I want to convert my viewers into leads.
That means giving your visitors a positive FAST loading experience with an immediate offer and a call to action.
This is a very precise experience with a very specific message and directive.
How do you this?  By creating what is called a Landing Page strictly for promotional purposes.
What is a Landing page?
It’s also known as a Squeeze page because you are squeeeeezing information from the viewer, converting the looker into an actual lead.
The concept is simple, pitch an offer, the looker completes a form.  They are enticed by the offer, you get a lead. You’ve converted a looker into a LEAD!
Why is the promotion of Landing Page(s) INSTEAD of your website critical?
It’s simple. Keep your potential buyers happy and YOU will get better advertising results.
Specifically, a fast-loading landing page that includes a headline with an immediate benefit and a call to action.
Example: HERE’s what you GET! Followed by punchy benefits of what else they get, concluding with an offer and a lead form.
Now, here is a critical point for all you advertisers who think graphics are the king, that more is better.
Take a  quick lesson from an experienced marketer (who is also a designer). If you do nothing else to improve your ad copy –
get rid of the fancy and weighty images. Often an overabundance of graphics detracts from your marketing message.
We have tested boring simple text ads against the exact same ad copy on a rich graphic landing page. Guess what?
The simple ugly plain text ads consistently got higher click rates than the graphical ones. We eliminated
instant play video, got rid of flash, and used just really good ad copy.  Landing pages with no video perform better than those with video.
Why is this? Videos can take a while to load and may not add immediate value to what you offer. You often have less than 30 seconds to get
your message into the brain of the viewer. Well-chosen key words get in the brain of your potential buyers IMMEDIATELY when time and
limited attention is critical.  We humans are greedy. This is a fact. We have short attention spans. We want something and we want it now.
Smart marketers recognize this and tell people what they can get and how to get it if they act now!
One of the powers of a Landing Page comes from the fact that you can create a specific Landing Page for EVERY product you offer.
You can create them quickly and test them. If you create a dud that gets no result, replace it by creating another.
Many advertising sources offer an option to pause a campaign which means you can cancel one ad and replace it with
another more effective one before your ad dollars are depleted.  Compare this to making edits to a web site that can
take considerable time for major marketing changes, while a Landing page can be put up and taken down in minutes.
Finally, remember where you are marketing – online.  Full page colour graphic ads do well in a full page print ad.
My guess is that you don’t have the 10 K + for a fully page glossy ad.  You are most likely relying on the tried true tested forms
of free an low  cost advertising like Traffic Exchanges and Safelists.  These are powerful ways to promote your product or service
and are ideal for simple Landing Pages. In fact you WANT a fast loading simply ad for Safelists and Traffic Exchanges because you have
a very limited (20 sec or less) to get these people attention.  Keeping it simple is just as effective now as it always has been.
Graphics used effectively can bring your ad alive, but very few other than professionals can master this combination of copy and graphics to solicit response.
Ok, I want to make sure I have made this point clear as it is so very important.  Use LANDING PAGES to generate leads for
specific products  or services.  Use your website to promote your company in general.
Landing Pages are ALL about the reader and turning them into a lead.  If you want to stock your website with page after page about product development,
research,  your years in business, how wonderful you are and your customers think you are, put all of that on your website.
Content about your company, products and services is of course valuable for many reasons, post it to your site but don’t rely on this as you one and only lead generator.
Now, let’s dig a little deeper into your advertising strategy.  Look at your ad or your landing page. I mean really look at it.
Do you have a clear benefit headline to get attention.
Do you follow this headline up with benefit-laden offers, reason after reason why people have to act now!
Do you include an invitation to DO IT NOW offer that will motivate your reader to become a buyer!
Or if not a buyer at least to take some action –  to respond to your offer, join your newsletter, try a free sample, participate in a free trial.
Whatever get them to DO something!
You accomplish this with well written offers not with blinking links, and boring videos that take forever to load.
Have you included an OPTIN to your company mailing, newsletter, product updates etc?  This is a CRITICAL inclusion.
A Landing page doubles as a List Building Tool.  Do not underestimate this. Landing pages and list building work hand in hand as required marketing tools.
Review your advertising material. Is it about YOU or is it about your potential buyer?
If the ad is more about how wonderful you are then about how beneficial your product or service is to the user, you have what is called an EGO ad.
Your ad should NOT be about you, or your company, or that you are family owned business, or that you support charities.
Your ad has one purpose: to tell people all the benefits of what your product/services offers and why they need to act now to get it!
Want a quick lesson in this strategy? Watch late night infomercials. See how these infomercials verbally hit you over the head
INSTANTLY with all the BENEFIT OF X product. You are drawn in more and more because they offer you X, then add Y to it.
But wait if you buy now you get X, Y and Z too!  Watch how they give you the pitch, make the offer, then make a better offer, and
then a limited time offer to motivate you into action NOW!! Great marketing offers value and a sense of urgency to get an immediate action.
Ok here is your homework.  If you don’t have an ad strategy that accomplishes this you have failed your first lesson in online marketing.
Go back write it again, take away distraction of video and flash. Whittle your ad down to ONLY what matters to the buyer.
Get back to basics. Your goal is always to compel action. Don’t risk making anyone wait to see what you offer.
Get to the point instantly. Web surfers are easily bored.  Get their attention INSTANTLY or they are gone! You may get a hit on your ad,
but you can quickly send people away with a poorly thought out advertising strategy.
Advertising that does not generate leads and sales will eat up your hard-earned dollars faster than my dog woofs down his doggie chow.

Not all Online Advertising is Equal. Read this to get results and keep more of your hard earned dollars in your pocket.

By Sandi Hunter

Many online entrepreneurs are using various advertising sources that do NOT produce good quality leads. It is your choice where you promote but we want to make sure you understand that all advertising is NOT equal.  Read this important information below to save yourself wasted dollars on advertising, save time and avoid blood boiling, hair-pulling frustration.

Here is a very basic but essential summary of what you need to know about online advertising.

1) Be aware of the difference between VIEWS and HITS.  Hits usually refer to someone, a person actually CLICKING on your ad.  Some sites promise to deliver hits, when really they are providing only views of your ad. This means no one actually clicks on the ad, your ad just appears somewhere lost on a page.

2) Some sites use a computer-generated script that has a computer CLICK on ads meaning you think you are getting hits, but no human has actually seen your ad.

3) Some sites pay people a very small amount of money to complete forms. These people have no interest in purchasing and are usually not good leads.

4) Some sites deliver leads to you but the leads are names of people from countries that do not have the ability to make secure verified purchases.

Below is a list of countries which DO provide their citizens with secure online order processing. Leads from these countries are acceptable.

Argentina
Australia
Anguilla
Austria
Belgium
Brazil
Canada
Chile
China
Costa Rica
Denmark
Dominican Republic
Finland
France
Germany
Greece
Hong Kong
Iceland
India
Ireland
Israel
Italy
Jamaica
Japan
Luxembourg
Mexico
Netherlands
New Zealand
Norway
Portugal
Singapore
South Korea
Spain
Sweden
Switzerland
Taiwan
United Kingdom

Every week we hear from people that tell us they are promoting all day every day but no results!  We look at their Ad Tracker stats and guess what? They are NOT advertising in reputable places. They are NOT advertising at the places we recommend and list in the Member area!   They are not getting any clicks on their Ads!   The reason Worldprofit has provided our Members with the Ad Tracker Tool is so you can post and analyse your results. This is far more effective and cost-saving then the POST AND PRAY method that many people rely on.

Below are our suggestions to get the BEST VALUE from your Advertising and Promotion Efforts.

1. The Safelists and Exchanges listed in your Member area under Advertising/Traffic are ones that we recommend for both paid advertising or credit-based free advertising. The list we provide is a GOOD place for paid ads.
YES! Safelists and Traffic Exchanges DO work and DO produce results  – if you know which ones to use – we tell you!  If you are saying to yourself, Good grief I don’t have time to earn credits in safelists and exchanges" then DON’T!  Pay for advertising at those sites. It is low cost and effective. We even provide you with ads you can use.

2. When you get notification of a Worldprofit Associate sign up pay close attention to the COUNTRY that the lead is generated.  If the lead is not on the list of countries above, be sceptical of the quality of lead.

3. If you get a an Associate sign up that has bogus letters entered or a fictional name, then just disregard the lead. It is a person or a computer bot wasting your time.

4. Use your Ad Tracker tool that we provide FREE for your use in your member area.  If you purchase advertising somewhere and you get ZERO hits tracked on your Ad Tracker  then you KNOW that advertising source is NOT a good one.

5. If you want to check with our Worldprofit Support Team BEFORE you buy paid advertising from a source we don’t have on our recommended list, you can submit a Support form request.  We will be happy to provide you with some advise.

6. Follow the steps of the online Worldprofit Home Business Bootcamp Training, and attend the Live Weekly Training Sessions with George Kosch.

7. If you are a new Marketer, avoid placing ads at Google unless you know what you are doing and have a considerable budget.

8. The Worldprofit Home Business Bootcamp Training in the good hands of Instructor George Kosch teaches you many ways to build your online business incorporating a number of tested strategies, low cost advertising sources, link tools, promotion vehicles, and software to automate the process. Don’t expect to learn this stuff overnight, you won’t. Be realistic and build your online business over time.

The bottom line is this. One of the fastest way to DOOM your online business, is buying paid ads in places that don’t produce good quality leads. You may think,  "I am advertising and promoting but not getting results!" But know this:  If your ad is not being seen by real people at a reputable advertising source you will be out of money and make NOTHING!   Be wary and wise when purchasing online advertising.   Save yourself from wasting your money and the frustration.

FINAL WORDS:  Worldprofit offers you training every week to help you avoid problems like this. PLEASE come to the training.
Listen. Learn and apply what we teach you.  We ONLY Tell you to do what we KNOW works because we are DOING IT. You can too.
